NSCP Child Poverty Update Webinar Level 3
The UK is currently facing a significant poverty crisis, with over 16 million people living in families in poverty. This includes 5.2 million children, 9.2 million working age adults and 1.5 million pension-age adults. The Social Metrics Commission indicates that children have been particularly hard hit, with 36% of children in poverty in 2022/23.
When working closely with children and families and particularly if you do home visits practitioners are in a unique position to possibly identify some indicators of child poverty and to offer support and advice. We would like to offer you the opportunity to attend a brief hour and half Child Poverty Update via MS Teams delivered by colleagues from Early Help and Family Hubs Children and Families Department.
