Nottinghamshire Safeguarding Children Partnership Monthly Update Briefings

The Nottinghamshire Safeguarding Children Partnership would like to keep you fully informed of what is happening both locally and nationally in relation to safeguarding children, as such we would like to offer some new monthly briefings.

These briefings are aimed to be informative but also brief as we know everyone is busy so they will only be 1 hour long. We will be offering one every month at varying times to ensure that they are accessible to all.

The content will be different each month as we will be continually updating the information we need to share with you – so you may want to book on as many events as you would like throughout the year.

As this is a briefing event you do not need to book via the NSPC Training login page - simply click on the links below to register for every date you want to attend (ctrl and click to open the link).

The invite for the MS Teams Webinars will appear in your electronic calendar. You will also receive a confirmation email of your booking(s) and then 3 days prior to the event a further email reminder.

All events are free of charge to all partners who work with children and families in Nottinghamshire. As this is not a full training course a certificate will not be issued.  A copy of the PowerPoint presentation will be sent after the event.

Briefing aims

  • The main focus is to share the learning identified from local Nottinghamshire Child Reviews including Local Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews (LCSPR) and Rapid Reviews.
  • When a Local Child Safeguarding Practice Review is published, we aim to offer a specific focussed learning event where practitioners can fully engage with the learning and participate in discussions.
  • To share the learning identified from National Reviews/Reports which relate to Safeguarding Children.
  • Other pertinent updates from the Partnership.
