NSCP Safeguarding Children at Risk of Neglect Level 3
Our Safeguarding Children at Risk of Neglect one day course has now been redeveloped into two shorter virtual training events through Microsoft Teams delivered over the same day (two 2-hour sessions each with a 10 minute break included).
You will need to attend both the morning and afternoon sessions to access a place on this course.
This course will help participants to develop their understanding of the impact of neglect on the lived experience of the child. It will consider strategies for working with families with complex needs; assessing risk and working towards effective interventions. It will also increase awareness of current research and tools for assessing neglect, including the Nottinghamshire Neglect Toolkit.
This event will be delivered by Ruth Pearson, who has 25 years' experience in the field of child protection, who brings the training alive with many examples of practice linking in with her extensive experience.
