NSCP Emotional Abuse Part 1 Recognising & Understanding Emotional Abuse Level 3

Emotional abuse is often a part of other kinds of abuse, which means it can be difficult to spot the signs or tell the difference, though it can also happen on its own. Our Emotional Abuse course comprises of two short virtual training events via Microsoft Teams - this is Part 1. To gain a full understanding of Emotional Abuse and its impact on children & young people we would recommend that you book onto both events. The overall aims of the course is to: look at the framework for the identification of emotional abuse, consider the effects of emotional abuse on children, and young people, and to help practitioners work effectively with emotional abuse from assessment through to legal proceedings.
