NSCP Child Sexual Exploitation 2 – Tackling CSE Effectively Level 3
Our CSE one day course has now been re-developed into four shorter three-hour virtual training events via Microsoft Teams - this is the second event. To gain a full understanding of CSE and its impact on children & young people we would recommend that you book onto all four events. The events are for all practitioners who work directly with children and young people who may be vulnerable to CSE. Attending all 4 events will provide an in depth understanding of CSE indicators and risks, grooming models including the use of the internet, and equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to manage disclosures and suspicions of CSE effectively and in accordance with Safeguarding procedures.

Aims
- To be able to identify CSE – types of exploitation, use of social media, grooming, perpetrator awareness, link to missing procedures
- To consider how to respond to CSE – the importance of working in partnership and use of multi-agency practice guidance and tools
- To consider the effects of CSE on boys and young men
- How to working more effectively with children and parents/carers

Course charges
Please note as from April 1 2020 we have implemented a new revised charging policy which may affect some organisations who do not contribute financially to the Partnership. E.g. Schools, District and Borough Councils, Fire and Rescue service. For more details please see our charging table on our training page of our website.
